PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING ANY ‘RICHMOND DRUM LESSONS’ SERVICES. BY USING SERVICES PROVIDED FROM ‘RICHMOND DRUM LESSONS’ AND ASSOCIATES. YOU MUST ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS STATED HEREIN. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF SERVICE, DO NOT USE SERVICE PROVIDED BY ‘Richmond Drum Lessons’ and services. We may modify these Terms of Use and other terms from time to time as necessary and not required to notify you.
FREE TRIALS
Richmond Drum Lessons Require ALL TRIALS to be on time. Late arrivals will be declined.
ATTENDANCE
We require students to pay in advance for all weekly lessons in the month attended or not.
LESSON TUITION
Month to month weekly lesson tuition is collected 5 days before the first lesson of the month. Lesson availability will be subject to change without tuition payment received. We do not accept cash on the first lesson.
NON-TRANSFERABLE
Lessons are non-transferable - if your name is on our schedule, we expect to see you here, not your “buddy” who wants to fill in for your missed lessons.
CANCELLATION POLICY
No makeup or rebooking lessons are offered outside “extreme medical emergencies”. If the student cannot make it, then the teacher cannot schedule a new student for that one solitary lesson. Richmond Drum Lessons cannot be expected to offer 2X the number of minutes simply because the student can’t be there. We don’t expect drum lessons to be the most important thing in your life, but we would like you to honour your commitment to be here at the dates and times agreed upon. Remember, when you decide not to come for your lesson, you are being charged for the instructor’s time that was held for you. Richmond Drum Lessons and Associates cannot be expected to give extra time for free. Please be thoughtful when booking lessons (and or) services in advance. This is common practice in the private music lesson sector to respect the time committed and the occupation of music educators.
HEARING PROTECTION
Students using acoustic drums are responsible for bring personal hearing protection. Richmond Drum Lessons is not responsible for any hearing damage or physical injury.
OPEN DOOR POLICY
Parents are always allowed to sit in on lessons. We have an open-door policy for lessons.
Additionally, from time to time, Richmond Drum Lessons may record, photograph or video a student during recitals (and or) lessons and other public performances to be used on Richmond Drum Lessons website and any other medium. By enrolling for lessons with Richmond Drum Lessons (and or) using any other services provided, you consent to such use as a student or legal guardian of a student.
Richmond Drum Lessons has a ZERO tolerance to physical violence and swearing on our property.
Any act of violence on our property and or swearing will lead to instant termination of lessons with no refund of prepaid tuition.
